The Oklahoma Baptist University Bison launched their new athletics website today. The OBU Bison are the first member of the Sooner Athletic Conference (SAC, also powered by SIDHelp) to join the SIDHelp network.

When Oklahoma Baptist University opened its doors in 1910, Bison athletics quickly followed and has grown and flourished right along with the school and the community of Shawnee.

Today, the university supports men's and women's teams in soccer, cross country, indoor track, outdoor track, golf, tennis and basketball, along with volleyball and softball for women and baseball for men. Between 17 varsity programs and a number of junior varsity teams, the student-athlete population is well over 300 on Bison Hill.

The university has claimed two national championships in women's track, two more in men's track and one in men's basketball.
